Meet the Maker

Hey!

My name is Leah. I was born and raised in a small town in Pictou, Nova Scotia.

I started using polymer clay as a creative medium during my first Maternity Leave. I also enjoyed crafting, knitting/crocheting, painting, etc. Always had my eye on clay and wanted to try. So, I took the leap and did just that, and I fell in love!

I started working with clay in the summer of 2020. Making earrings. Since then, clay earrings have exploded, and there are makers everywhere! I have even supported some by buying their earrings, because for the most part, we all have different styles.

I try to be as creative as possible with my work. I enjoy free handing and hand sculpting details so no two earrings are the same!

Chasing Jam's...where did the name come from?

- my son! His initials are "JAM" and we are always chasing him around! Life with a toddler, am I right?
